Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Sixty years of anesthesia delivery and ventilation expertise will culminate in the introduction of an array of new products from Spacelabs Healthcare at the American Society of Anesthesiologists meeting, October 15-19, in Chicago.  Arkon, a new high-performance anesthesia system, will be at the forefront, paired with the popular Xprezzon patient monitor and a new Multigas Analyzer. Spacelabs Healthcare will also introduce the latest BleaseFocus for the first time to the North American market.

“Our goal is to help anesthesiologists achieve that perfect balance between practice and patient, by providing tools that are intuitive and flexible so that their focus can always be on the patient,” said Nicholas Ong, President of Spacelabs Healthcare.

Spacelabs Healthcare has a rich history of innovation in the perioperative environment. Over the years, the company has introduced many “firsts”, such as the first anesthesia ventilator to integrate spirometry loops and the first maintenance-free vaporizer. Today, Spacelabs Healthcare’s perioperative research and development center, based in Madison, Wisconsin, is comprised of a team of engineers with over 200 years of combined experience in the design and development of related products.
