ETMC Athens Using Upgraded ICU Room Monitoring Equipment

At the bedside of patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit here sits upgraded monitoring equipment that was put in use recently for the first time in Texas at East Texas Medical Center Athens.
Monitoring ICU patients took a more sophisticated, innovative turn in Texas when ETMC Athens installed a top-of-the-line hemodynamic monitor called “xprezzon.” It provides new technology and design in all 10 rooms of the hospital’s new intensive care unit.

Spacelabs Healthcare (named so because it originally developed telemetry devices to monitor the vital signs of orbiting astronauts) has recently launched XPREZZON, a patient monitor that pretty much fulfills all the wishes we ever had for a monitor and that also makes some clever use of existing remote desktop technology.
